I am so far having a great time, but found that my eyes weren't moving quickly in the begining, and my brain wasn't absorbing words. things are starting to pick up now. my most amusing moment from the last hour and a half was when DH started to tip over because he had fallen asleep. it might be a LOONNNGGGG 24 hours ;)

I hope you have a great day with the read-a-thon. I'm going out for a change of pace. My boyfriend needs to run to Wal-Mart, and I'm going to ride along and read in the car and grab some food to eat when I get back.

Have fun!

I love your update - especially cups of coffee consumed!

So what are you going to read next? I liked both Middlesex and Time Traveler's Wife.

I'm reading 84, Charing Cross Road and I ADORE it. I think any book lover will!

My eyes weren't cooperating right when I woke up, either! I'd given myself 15 minutes between the alarm and the start of the read-a-thon to get my brain adjusted, but it was still a slow start. Hope the rest of the day goes better!

awwww those darn slow eyes.

yay for breaking dawn.... crazyness huh?

Good luck! I myself have to have about at least 10 pages to read before things start to pick up. And I know, it's really going to be a long 24 hours. ;)

I'm not a morning person so reading this early for me is an adventure. Enjoy!

Good luck to you. I've managed so far without an caffeine--don't want to get jangly too early--but I think that's about to change.

The Twilight books are such compulsive reading, aren't they? I found Jacob's section in Breaking Dawn a bit too long actually but it picked up after that. Happy reading!

Great update! I'm matching you on the coffee - but that's my usual intake! Looks like you've got some great books on your list. Have fun today!

Hey, you're doing great! :D
I had a slow beginning, too, but as time goes it seems I read quicker! Maybe we just needed to wake up ;)

I had a few sleepy eyed moments similar to DH during the first 45 minutes or so of reading. Pepsi-fueled and into a very humorous book, I am feeling much more awake at present. I'm glad you have gotten into the groove and hope your day continues to be one that sees you alert and deeply engrossed in fantastic reading!!!

Good luck with the reading, I'm concentrating on my knitting and thinking of doing some dying instead of reading today
