Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?

as some of mine are half finished, I would like to finish at least 2. my only other goal would be to stay awake. heh. I also want to see how many mini-challenges i can complete.

If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, Any advice for people doing this for the first time?

nope, i'm a first timer =D

That's so interesting that you have no sense of smell! My dad has less sense of smell than most people (kind of like being hearing impaired, only with smell), so he can't tell when food's gone a bit bad.

Welcome to the read-a-thon: good luck today!

How exciting that you have a book store! I've always wanted to work in one, but feared I would never actually make it home with a pay check.

I noticed that you have started Dracula. I've been wanting to read it ever since I read The Historian this year. I've considered it being my pick for my work book club. Any thoughts??

You have a lot of great books on your list. I've read quite a few and have even more on my list as well. I've been wanting to read Janet Evanovich's book on writing. Can't wait to see what you think.

I'd rather have peas than corn.

We're discussing The Time Traveler's Wife tomorrow at book group.
